The Monterey Bay Section FFA is a section located in the Monterey County. Our section consists of nine FFA chapters that reach from King City to Soquel. The nine FFA chapters include: King City, Greenfield, Soledad, Gonzales, Salinas, North Salinas, Salinas-Everett Alvarez, Watsonville, and Soquel. The Monterey Bay Section FFA is one of the six sections that are part of the South Coast Region. Our section is surrounded by a lot of agriculture; many crops are grown such as lettuce, broccoli, tomatoes, strawberries, spinach, grapes, and many more. The Monterey Bay Section hosts many events throughout the year such as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies contest,

B.I.G/CO-OPS contest, the Public Speaking (Job Interview, Extemporaneous, Prepared, Creed, Impromptu, Parlimentary Procedure) competition, Project Competition, and many more.

     These events would not be possible if it weren't for the Monterey Bay Section Officer team which consists of: President: Mackenzie Hearne, Vice-President: Mariaelena Ramirez,

Secretary: Allison Wagner, Treasurer: Yisele Jurado, Reporter: Samantha Santos, Sentinel: Jacob Dixon, Historian: Ivan Trujillo, and Advisor: Mrs. Lauren Peterson. The Monterey Bay Section is very fortunate to have dedicated members who care for the future of agriculture and for the National FFA Organization. Every member shows their hard work and potential through their SAE projects, CDE competitions, Public Speaking  competitions, and many more. Our section provides many opportunities for our members to achieve premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. The Monterey Bay Section consists of chapters who truly prepare students for the future and who teach their students to serve their communities with pride. Our section truly represents the meaning of "Learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live, and living to serve!"
